De vuelta al ruedo…

Me encontré con la buenísima noticia de que Arundhati Roy va a escribir un nuevo libro. A 10 años de haber escrito The God of the Small Things –una de las mejores novelas que he leído, definitivamente una de mis favoritas– y después de entregarse al activismo político, regresa al terreno de la ficción.

Para crear conciencia, se puede luchar desde diferentes trincheras: “As a writer I have to go to a different place now. As a person… I want to step off whatever this stage is that I have been given. The argument has been made, the battle remains to be fought-and that requires a different set of skills.” Y el arte de la ficción es en manos de Roy un arma muy poderosa y efectiva.

Desde ya muero por leer este nuevo trabajo.
